
Fitness people I am 40 years old and?

I would like to know how much weight on average can I expect to loose by June eating a low fat, lean protien, and high fiber diet? Low Carb does NOT work for me and it is too strict.
I tried low carb but that does NOT work for me and my body responds better to low fat because with low fat I have more freedom and flexibility and can do the long haul (staying on track).
I have did low fat before and lost around 50+ lbs. I just fell of the bandwagon.
But now wiser regarding my choices and more variety of foods.I will have to suck it up and prepare my foods
I also have started to walk 6 days a week 20-25 minutes a day if I feel I have more stamina I go 30 minutes and I also alternate the bike and treadmill.I do a few jumping jacks and march in place. For a few minutes as well before doing the treadmill and bike. .Thanks

Your best bet for loosing weight is proper diet and exercise. You should be doing 30+ minutes of cardio per day (walk, run, bike, stair climber, elliptical). In addition you should also be doing some strength training to build muscle mass since lean muscle helps burn fat.
Your diet should include lean protein and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. You don’t have to give up the foods you love; you just need to learn portion control. There are no magic diets or pills that will do the work for you. You have to take it upon yourself to make the positive changes in your life to be healthier.
